Colombia: Scores injured and four reported missing after floods strike Corinto

Up to 30 people were injured and a further four are reported missing in Corinto, Cauca Department, western Colombia, as the River Paila burst its banks after heavy rainfall on Tuesday. Emergency services also report that several families are currently trapped in their homes with doors being blocked by the high water levels. This is the second flood in Cauca Department in a matter of days. Last week, one person died due to heavy rainfall in San Andres de Pisimbala.
