Colombia: Opposition protests enter fifth day

Mass demonstrations against the Colombian government headed by President Ivan Duque entered their fifth day on Monday. The march in Bogota passed off peacefully, with protesters also choosing to mark the United Nations' International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. Duque met business and union leaders on Monday to try and bring an end to the unrest. Earlier, a young man... Еще hospitalised during clashes at the national strike mobilisation on Saturday succumbed to his injuries. Dilan Cruz, who has since become a symbol of the movement, was struck in the head by a tear gas canister fired by riot police.
