Colombia: Former FARC fighters embrace World Cup spirit in peace camp

Former FARC fighters and their families enjoyed football match in the peace camp in Tolima Department, Bogota Vicinities, footage filmed on Thursday. People were jubilant that Colombian team managed to qualify for the knockout stage in the 2018 FIFA World Cup, following a 1-0 win against Senegal. Еще Colombia (FARC) laid down their arms and turned their attention to farming, repair-work and intellectual pursuits, as they seek to integrate into society. The peace deal ended a decades-long civil war which led to the deaths of an estimated 220,000 people, the majority of them civilians. Thousands were also victims of kidnappings and millions were displaced during the internal conflict.
