Dozens of protesters were arrested in Bogota on Monday after clashes broke out during a march against police brutality and in condemnation of recent evictions of vulnerable families amidst ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The protesters were filmed throwing rocks at store windows and defacing the facades. In addition, they were also filmed looting some of the stores.
According to reports, over 700 people took to the streets of the Colombia's capital city, demanding that the authorities provide aid to the vulnerable sectors of the Colombian society. Similar protests were also held in other cities.
