Relatives and supporters installed commemorative tables at the main square of the Colombian capital — Bolivar Square... Еще, ornamented with flowers, candles, portraits and full-height silhouettes of the victims. «They [UP members] mobilised demanding social justice for the Colombian people and it is the best homage precisely to colleagues, is to fight for the implementation of the agreements (peace agreements between the FARC-EP, the National Liberation Army and the government) that today different sectors of the Colombian state want to ignore them, they want to trample them,» one survivor addressed the crowd. The Patriotic Union founded in 1985 by guerrilla movement FARC (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia) and the Colombian Communist Party as part of peace negotiations with then Colombian President Belisario Betancur.
