China: Wuhan high school students in non-graduating grades resume classes

Some 120,000 high school students in non-graduating grades returned to school in Wuhan, on Friday, as the city claims to have cleared all the COVID-19 cases about a month ago. Students were seen leaving the Wuhan Senior High School in the evening, as parents waited in the rain for them to pick them up. «The prevention measures in the school are nice. When we were eating, we were divided into two groups, one group of students stayed in the classroom to eat while the other group went to the international division. The students had to keep social distance. We had to wear masks all the time,» explained one of the students. «I think Wuhan is the safest city in the world. I am not worried about my kid going back to school. The atmosphere is better in school and he is so lonely studying at home,» stated a parent of a student attending school. The novel coronavirus is said to have originated in Wuhan, which was once the worst-hit city in the world.
