Cinemas began to accept moviegoers again on in Shanghai on Monday, after a six-month shut down due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Visitors can be seen wearing masks in the cinema, which one visitor noted had far less people than usual.
«There are few people now [in the cinema]. Every time I go to the movies, there are always many people. But now it is more than 10 visitors, maybe because of the limit,» he said.
One of the visitors commented on reopening of cinemas and pointed out that she followed the required steps before going in to movie.
«I was pretty happy to visit the cinema at this time. Our temperature was checked. We demonstrated our [health] code to the staff members. This is quite safe,» she said.
Despite the cinema opening, visitors were not allowed to buy snacks, pop-corn or any drinks. The cinema hall was also covered with notices and warning boards urging visitors to keep a safe distance from one another.
