The first of two planes of the Russian Defence Ministry evacuated 80 Russian citizens from the Chinese city of Wuhan hit by the outbreak of coronavirus on Tuesday. Footage shows passengers on board the aircraft as they are accompanied by personell in chemical protection suits.

Russian Vice-Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said earlier that the two planes would bring 147 people including 10 Belarusian, three Kazakh, one Armenian and one Ukrainian citizens to the Tyumen region. The evacuees will be placed under quarantine according to the international proceedures.
The coronavirus outbreak has been declared a global health emergency by the World Health Organisation (WHO). Chinese health officials confirmed earlier on Tuesday that the death toll has reached 425, with more than 20,000 infected in China alone.
