Long-distance bus travel services resumed on Sunday at the Xinfadi station, after more than a month closure.
The Xinfadi area was the epicentre of the city’s second wave of coronavirus outbreak.
Even though the bus terminal reopened, premises were nearly deserted. The numbers of long-distance buses have reportedly been reduced.
Passengers need to scan their health QR code and go through a body temperature check in order to get into the station, but no negative nucleic acid testing result is required when taking a bus leaving Beijing to travel to the other provinces.
