China hit back against the United States on its trade tariffs, unveiling a list of US products worth 50 billion dollars (€40.6bln, £35.5bln) subjected to higher import fee on Wednesday in Beijing. An additional tariff of 25 percent will be applied to more than a hundred consumer goods including cars, whiskey, chemical products and soybeans. Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Geng Shuang... Еще said China will take proportionate measures of the same intensity and scale on US products. Geng said China hopes that the US could restart win-win cooperation through dialogue and negotiations with China. «China has never surrendered and will not surrender to threat and oppression,» he added. The Chinese Ministry of Finance said the tariffs would go into effect at the same time as the new US import duties.
