Meitu's three upcoming AR effects for the Facebook platform are called Selfie from the Future, Meitu Family and Instant Glam. Meitu's achievements on AR technology and mergers between fashion production and social network markets, the selfie company has already made key breakthroughs in applying augmented reality features in key sectors like product placement, advertisement and marketing.Founded in 2008, Meitu has a total of 13 applications tailored for different sections of the market and the world, and is now valued at an estimated 5.3 billion dollars (4.53767123 billion Euros). It's stock prise has been on the rise since it went public on the Hong Kong stock exchange earlier this year. Since the first Meitu app was released, Meitu has registered over 1.1 billion unique downloads and records over 500 million active users.
