They touted banners with slogans like «Rich people pay for it... poor people bleed out for it. Safe, free, free of charge and supportive abortion». Earlier in July Chile’s senate passed a bill to legalise abortion in three cases: when a women's life is at risk, when a foetus is unviable and when a pregnancy is the result of a rape. «What bothers is that at this point in life men come to decide for our bodies, what we do with our bodies” said one protester, Maria.
