At least ten people were reportedly arrested with dozens injured as crowds hit Chile's capital in an anti-government demonstration, Friday.
Footage shows police using water cannons and tear gas to disperse the protesters who responded with projectiles and Molotov cocktails, setting a water cannon vehicle on fire, with the clashes disrupting capital's traffic.
Chile's political and social... Еще organizations called for a new wave of protests throughout March, ahead of the referendum on changing the constitution on April 26.
The current wave of demonstrations, considered the largest in decades, was triggered by a rise in subway fares, which has been suspended. Since then, the protests have become a movement with broader complaints against the policies of country's President Sebastian Pinera and against growing social inequality.
