Chile: Anti-femicide women's march storms streets of Santiago

Thousands of women took to the streets of Santiago on Friday to demand an end to violence against women. Organized by Ni Una Menos ('Not one woman less' in Spanish) the demonstration protested what it deemed as 'constant indifference of the State and its institutions' to femicide and patriarchal violence. Some protesters went topless and others flamed torches as they danced and sang their way... Еще from Plaza Baquedano to Echaurren Street in the Chilean capital. A feminist grass-root movement, Ni Una Menos originated in Argentina with a goal of abolishing gender-based violence and since then has spread to other Latin American countries.
