Basketball player Pascal Siakam returned to his hometown of Douala on the Cameroonian coast on Tuesday to hold a training session with kids who might one day follow in his footsteps and become the NBA's next big thing.
The Toronto Raptors Power Forward, who stands at 6'9 (2.06m), watched on as the best Douala had to offer dunked and dribbled in the gym at Dominique Savio college.
«I think it was... Еще great, just being here, coming back, I think the whole thing is special, having kids coming here, they were really happy, that made me happy» Siakam said, '' We've got to focus on the kids, they are the talent, the next generation, and that's what I am focused on, I am focused on making sure I do my part to help» He added.
The 25-year-old moved to the US in 2013 to enrol at Mexico State University before establishing himself as one of the NBA's fastest rising stars after being drafted by the Raptors three years later.
He helped the franchise to their first ever NBA finals and was named the 2019 season's most improved player.
