Bulgaria: Second day of 16 + 1 summit kicks off in Sofia

The second day of the seventh 16 + 1 summit kicked off in the Bulgarian capital of Sofia on Saturday. Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov welcomed Premier of People's Republic of China Li Keqiang and prime ministers of 16 EU member states in Central and Eastern Europe, including Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia, as... Еще well as non-EU states in the Western Balkans, including Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia. Economic and industrial cooperation as well as trade and mutual investments are reportedly on the agenda of the summit. The 16+1 summit was established in 2012 as a multilateral platform, aimed at cultivating ties and deepening cooperation between Central and Eastern European nations and China.
