Thousands of protesters demonstrated in Sofia on Tuesday demanding the resignation of the government of Boyko Borisov and Chief Prosecutor Ivan Geshev.
Demonstrators marched to the offices of the European Comission and the European Parliament asking the EU to stop ignoring corruption and lawlessness in Bulgaria.
They also blocked crucial intersections in Sofia for hours.
A boy was injured when a car tried to pass through the crowd. The driver was tested (negative) for alcohol and drugs in front of protesters.
Activists, civil rights goups and opposition parties — have been demonstrating against the government under the slogan “Let's save the democracy” since July 9.
