Bulgaria: Nationalists march in Sofia to honour far-right WWII General

Over a thousand far-right activists from across Europe rallied in Sofia on Saturday, to pay tribute to World War II General Hristo Lukov, known for his Nazi affiliations. The 'Lukov March' was a torch-lit procession with participants shouting slogans against communists and praising nationalism. Participants also observed a moment of silence for Lukov, who was Bulgaria's war minister and a close... Еще ally to the Nazi regime in Germany. The march organised by the far-right 'Bulgarian National Legions' (BNL) has been held annually since 2003, involving participants from France, Germany, Sweden, Poland and Hungary. The event has previously been banned by the Sofia municipality but has gone ahead anyway. This year's slogan was «The future belongs to us.»
