Bulgaria: Nationalist party rallies supporters in front of parliament

Hundreds of supporters of a nationalist party gathered in front of the Bulgarian Parliament in Sofia on Monday, to call on the government of Prime Minister Boyko Borissov to resign. The protest was organised by the Vazrazhdane (Revival) political party. The demonstrators believe that the lockdown measures have been hitting the country's economy and accused Borissov of what they see as mismanagement of the coronavirus crisis. The government started easing the lockdown in late April, but social distancing in public places and the closure of borders are still in place.
