NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan were among those who arrived for the second day of the annual NATO Summit in Brussels on Thursday. Speaking to the press upon arrival, Poroshenko said he appreciated the «strong words» of NATO, and of US President Donald Trump which he said served to strengthen Ukrainian... Еще sovereignty. Pashinyan meanwhile hit out at Azerbaijan, claiming that their «aggressive policy» is «against democracy in our region.» Chaired by Stoltenberg, the summit is set to discuss the most urgent issues for its members concerning international security and military affairs. Transatlantic trade agreements as well as the US withdrawal from both the global climate pact and Iran nuclear deal are on the summit’s agenda, as are defence spending contributions.
