A spectacular fireworks display marked Moscow's City Day near Zaryadye Park, on Friday, which was opened today by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Reportedly 30 launch points were laid out for the salute, 17 of which were in park. Fireworks displays took place in thirteen different locations throughout Moscow.
Moscow is celebrating its 870th year anniversary.
The park is set to open to the... Еще public on September 11. More than 10 million people are expected to attend the park per year. The total area of the park is 10,2 hectares, with green space being divided into four landscape zones, filled with trees, bushes and some 120 species of plants.
