Brazil: Women, LGBT+ and Jews unite against Bolsonaro in Sao Paulo

A coalition of groups, including Women Against Fascism, Jewish people and the LGBT+ community, took to the streets of Sao Paulo on Saturday to protest against the front runner for the upcoming elections, the far-right Social Liberal Party's Jair Bolsonaro. Thousands could be seen walking down Avenida Paulista carrying banners and chanting against the pro-gun candidate. The latest polls from... Еще Dataofolha indicate Bolsonaro is in the lead with 35 percent, while Haddad is projected second at 22 percent. Democratic Labour Party candidate Ciro Gomes comes in third with 13 percent. If results follow the poll, the election will advance to a run-off with no one candidate having secured an outright majority.
