Tents were being set up at Rio de Janeiro's Maracana stadium on Thursday, as the venue is being converted into a field hospital for coronavirus patients.
Drone footage shows the tents being erected on the parking lot of the iconic stadium, which hosted the 2014 FIFA World Cup final games and the 2016 Olympic games opening and closing ceremonies, besides the Brazilian football team's games.
