Brazil: Drivers queue from dawn at new Sao Paulo COVID-19 drive-thru testing site

A drive-thru COVID-19 testing site was set up on top of a shopping centre in Sao Paulo, prompting cars to queue from dawn, on Friday. Sao Paulo residents formed a long queue of vehicles, starting from the street next to the shopping centre, to the very top of the car park where the testing tents were set up. The passengers reportedly waited for four hours to get tested, according to reports. Brazil has been one of the nations worst hit by the coronavirus outbreak in the world, with confirmed cases standing at 2.8 million, and 95,819 people having died with the disease according to data collected by Johns Hopkins University.
