Brazil: Black Women’s March draws thousands in Rio

The Black Women's March took to the streets of Copacabana to protest against racism, sexism and religious intolerance in Rio de Janeiro, on Sunday. Protester, Eldineia Santos said «We are here in this moment for a march of black women, it's the third time, very important for us to claim our rights, showing the face of this chauvinist and racist country, and we have to be recognised.» Carrying... Еще banners and signs, the predominantly female protest marched through Copacabana's streets, denouncing structural racism and sexism in Brazil, as well as the lack of diversity in Brazilian President, Michel Temer's current administration. This is the third march of its kind.
