Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Sarajevo on Monday, starting his official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina where he will attend the South East European Countries Cooperation Process (SEECP) Summit, which is currently being chaired by Bosnia.
On his first day in the country Erdogan met with members of Bosnia's tripartite Presidency, Serb member Milorad Dodik, Croat Zeljko Komsic... Еще and Bosniak Sefik Dzaferovic.
The meeting will focus on improving Balkan cooperation on areas such as economy, trade, transportation, infrastructure and investment.
The Turkish leader is expected to hold bilateral meetings with the tripartite presidency leaders. On Thursday he will also pay his respects to the Bosnian Muslims killed in Srebrenica on the 24th anniversary of the massacre, which saw over 8,000 Bosnians killed by Bosnian-Serb forces.
