Hundreds of people gathered on Monday in town of La Higuera, Santa Cruz, marking 50 years to Ernesto 'Che' Guevara's passing through Bolivia and his assassination. Guevara's family members, as well as Vice-President of Bolivia Alvaro Garcia Linera, President of Bolivia Evo Morales and Vice-President of Cuba Ramiro Valdes took part in the commemoration ceremony. «The Bolivian people share his... Еще reality, dream, goals and aspirations of emancipation which will mark history forever,» said Valdes. Guevara was executed by soldiers 50 years ago in La Higuera, at the age of 39. Following his death, the Argentine became an international symbol for revolution and left-wing ideals.
