Belgium: Current NATO-Russia relationship 'something new,' says Stoltenberg

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg commented on the current Russia-NATO relationship, at a meeting in Brussels on Friday. «We work with Russia to try to improve our relationship and we are in a situation where we have not been before. Because we are not in the old Cold War but we're neither in the strategic partnership we tried to build after the Cold War. So this is something new,» said... Еще Stoltenberg. He also discussed Russia in relation to the Skripal case. «The attack takes place against the background of a pattern of reckless behaviour by Russia,» he alleged. «And that's also the reason why all NATO allies reacted the way we did, including by the expulsion of Russian officials from the NATO mission,» he added. At the press conference, Stoltenberg also commented on the North/South Korea summit. He said, «I welcome the meeting today between the two leaders, the progress they have made and the commitment they have shown to resolving their differences peacefully.»
