European Council President Donald Tusk called «the mess» caused by Brexit the «biggest problem in the history of EU-UK relations,» speaking during a Ukraine-EU summit in Brussels on Monday. Commenting on the recent resignation of pro-Brexit Minister David Davis who was in charge of negotiating the deal, Tusk said: «unfortunately, the idea of Brexit has not left together with David Davis.» Tusk... Еще also noted that «politicians come and go but the problems they have created for their people remain.» Following Davis, British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson also announced his resignation, that made him the third minister in 24 hours to leave in reaction to Prime Minister Theresa May's announced Brexit plan. May's Cabinet communicated its exit strategy at Chequers last week. The plan has been branded as 'soft' as it looks for the UK to maintain close ties to Brussels after leaving the union. Many Brexit supporters see this as a break of the promise to remove the country from the EU single market and jurisdiction of the European Court of Justice.
