Belgium: Barnier rules out open-ended transition after Brexit

The European Union's chief negotiator Michel Barnier ruled out an open-ended transition period after Brexit, speaking at a press conference from Brussels on Tuesday. «Logically enough, we proposed that it should end on 31st December 2020, at the same time as the multiannual budget period.
