Belarus: Patriarch Kirill to discuss Ukrainian Orthodox breakaway in Minsk

The Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, Kirill, arrived in the Belarussian capital of Minsk on Saturday, where he intends to consecrate a church in honour of All Saints and hold a meeting of the Holy Synod. Upon the Patriarch’s arrival, Kirill said: “We have to solve a lot of important issues, including responding to what is happening in the family of Orthodox Churches today, and to the... Еще situation in Ukraine.” “I hope that the Orthodox Church will find the strength to overcome the crisis that exists, to preserve its unity, so necessary for the spiritual rebirth of our people,” he added.
