Thousands protested in solidarity with Myanmar's Rohingya Muslims in Dhaka, Friday, as those persecuted minority continue to flee into Bangladesh. Bangladeshi activists, as well as the members of The Ganajagaran Mancha, took part in rally, holding signs reading «Rohingya stop the bleeding» and «To Stop #RohignyaGenocide». Dr. Imran H Sarker, the spokesperson of The Ganajagaran Mancha... Еще, claimed, that «we will lay a siege to the Myanmar high commission» if they «don't stop the genocide and return back his Rohingya people in next three days». Protests have taken place across the globe over Myanmar's recent military action against Rohingyas in Rakhine state after a reported attack by militants left 12 police officers dead. The UN has estimated 123,600 Rohingya have crossed into Bangladesh over the past few weeks, amid widespread reports of indiscriminate killings, arson, looting and rape by the Myanmar military.
