Baby orangutan from one of world's most endangered species born at UK zoo

A Sumatran baby orangutan belonging to the critically endangered species was was born at Chester Zoo in the UK. The male orangutan was born after a nine-month pregnancy, as part of an international breeding programme. Orangutans are threatened by the loss of habitat. Approximately 80% of their population was lost in the past 75 years to mass deforestation. According to the International Union...
