The series of meetings bringing together the high representatives of countries which belong to the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) was held in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku on Tuesday. Vice Foreign Minister of Venezuela Ruben Dario Molina chaired the opening conference as his country took over the movement’s presidency since the turn of the year. The conference pre-empted the meeting scheduled... Еще for 5-6 April which will gather the member states’ foreign ministers. The diplomats are expected to discuss a range of issues including economic and political cooperation. 129 states are members of the Non-Aligned Movement with 17 other countries and 10 international organisations participating as observers.
