Eddy Lin, an autistic balloon artist from New Jersey, has been creating balloon pieces for key workers on the frontline of the COVID-19 crisis, as shown in footage from the town of Edison on Sunday.
The 22-year-old has gone viral in social and local media after paying tribute to grocery store workers, postal mail carriers, police officers, nurses and other essential workers as a token of... Еще appreciation for their work and dedication during the pandemic.
«I think in this challenging time, you know, people want to feel appreciated. I think even when they are doing their day to day job and they are not going to do anything differently, but knowing that there are people out there saying thank you means a lot to them,» explained Eddy's mother, Jenny, adding that the gifted youngster used balloons as a way of showing gratitude to people.
Eddie has been making balloon art for 12 years, beginning as a self-taught artist who learned his craft on YouTube. He has made arrangements for weddings and birthdays as he switched his muse from Marvel superheroes to another kind of hero: essential workers combating COVID-19.
