Austria: Macron vows commitment to EU at four-party summit in Salzburg

French President Emmanuel Macron said he is open to bilateral dialogue with «everyone who demonstrates a willingness, an ambition for Europe,» speaking at the Salzburg Summit on Wednesday. Macron added, «I don't believe, as you tell me, in the division of the European Union. And the division between the Eurozone and non-Eurozone [countries] or between East and West, isn't a real division... Еще.» Austrian Chancellor Christian Kern said, «I think it's key for Europe that there's a functioning German-French axis,» before praising Macron, «he understands that along with this informal leadership comes an obligation.»
