Еще and blocked four streets in its vicinity, including Mashtots, Sayat-Nova, Baghramyan and Saryan avenues. Protesters reportedly announced their plan to spend night on the streets. Police presence has been deployed to deter any violence. Earlier in the week, board members of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) have unilaterally approved the candidacy of Sargsyan for the post of prime minister.
