Armenia: Some countries are 'contaminated' with Russophobia 'virus' — Lavrov

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov gave a joint press conference with his Armenian counterpart Eduard Nalbandyan in Yerevan on Tuesday, during which he praised the mutual understanding between two countries whilst claiming that others are «contaminated with the pathological Russophobia virus». The Russian diplomat also pointed out during the press conference that Yerevan is «among the key partners of Russia,» adding that both Russia and Armenia «have almost coinciding positions on all the agendas of the international organizations». The Russian top diplomat also mentioned economic ties between the two countries, saying that the trade turnover has grown in the last months. He also noted that «Russia is stably holding the first place in investing into Armenia, and now around two thousand joint ventures are functioning here». Armenian Foreign Minister Eduard Nalbandyan praised relations between the two countries, saying that Russian and Armenian negotiations were «completely understood, which is often the case for negotiations amongst allies.»
