Argentina: Thousands protest decree which puts military on streets

Thousands of people took to the streets of Buenos Aires on Thursday to protest against a decree adopted by President Mauricio Macri's government which would see the armed forces able to intervene in interior security. Workers unions and other associations called on the people to gather in Plaza de Mayo and denounce the decree, as people recalled memories of past dictatorships. «It refers to...
