Thousands of Latin Americans flooded the streets of the Argentinean capital on Monday, as people united to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
Protesters, mostly women, were seen marching with various flags, including Bolivian and Colombian, waving banners and chanting. Some were seen playing drums, while others were marching topless.
«We ask for free and... Еще legal abortion at hospital for all women and for all bodies capable of gestating,» said one of the protesters, Andrea Ruiz.
The International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women was established by the UN and is marked around the world annually on November 25.
