A health centre ready to host coronavirus patients with less severe symptoms was set up inside a theme park in La Plata, as footage filmed on Wednesday shows.
Workers were seen bringing beds and mattresses into one of the areas designated as a coronavirus ward, inside the deserted theme park 'The Children's Republic' (Republica de los Ninos.)
The park, which will serve as an intermediate health... Еще centre to isolate people infected but showing mild symptoms, has a total of 115 beds for adults and children.
Buenos Aires province, the largest and most populous in Argentina, is expected to see a rising number of COIVD-19 cases in the next few days and weeks. According to La Plata Mayor Julio Garro authorities are preparing to increase the number of beds available in intensive care units from 750 to 2,000.
Argentina has 328 active cases of coronavirus with seven deaths reported as of Wednesday.
