Argentina: Russian star swimmers take home gold for Russia

Russian star swimmers Kliment Kolesnikov and Anastasia Makarova brought home gold for Russia at Day 4 of the the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires on Wednesday. Kolesnikov won his fourth and fifth gold medals of this year's Youth Olympics in the 50m backstroke and the the 4x100m Medley Relay final, with a World Junior Record time of 3 minutes 35.17seconds. Kolesnikov said: «A huge amount of... Еще work has been done to achieve this, everyone was prepared for this. We summed up our results before the start, realised that we could set a new youth world record, and everything worked out.» Makarova was also awarded gold for her performance in the 100m breastroke final. Russia now currently have 16 gold medals at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympic Games, double that Hungary, who has the second most at 8. Mandatory credit to IOC
