EU leaders posed for a family photo, as the Group of Twenty (G20) summit got underway in Buenos Aires on Friday.
French President Emmanuel Macron took centre stage in the group photo, standing between European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and European Council President Donald Tusk. UK Prime Minister Theresa May and Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte stood to the right of Juncker... Еще, with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte positioning themselves to the left of Tusk.
The G20 is an international forum where governments and central bank governors from 20 major economies give their opinions on the global situation. Members include 19 individual countries: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey, the UK and the US, along with the EU.
The summit runs from Friday, November 30, until Saturday, December 1.
