The International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) announced that the Russian Athletics Federation (RusAF) will not be reinstated 'for the time being', at a press conference in Buenos Aires on Friday. Independent chairperson of the IAAF taskforce for Russia, Rune Andersen, announced that 'the Council unanimously adopted a resolution that RusAF not be reinstated for the time being... Еще.' He added though that following the Council's next meeting in Monaco in December, the taskforce might 'be able to recommend that RusAF be provisionally reinstated at that time.' The President IAAF Sebastian Coe announced that Kenya, Ethiopia, Belarus and Ukraine had been added to a watch list of nations most a risk of doping and that Budapest 'is the preferred European city to host the IAAF World Championships in 2023.' The All-Russia Athletics Federation's IAAF membership was suspended in November 2015 following an investigation into alleged doping in Russian sports following a World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) commissioned McLaren report.
