Argentina: «I want Santiago alive» — Thousands rally in Buenos Aires in solidarity with missing detainee

Tens of thousands of demonstrators took to the streets of Buenos Aires, Friday, in a mass protest to pressure the government into releasing the whereabouts of missing detainee Santiago Maldonado. Maldonado has been reported missing since going into police custody in Chubut last week, with many of the protesters blaming the government and the Argentine Minister of Security Patricia Bullrich in... Еще particular. Speaking to the crowds gathered at the Plaza de Mayo, Sergio Maldonado, the missing detainee's brother, said, «Santiago I want to see you, I'm proud of you, I'm going to fight to the end, I do not care what happens to me, I want Santiago alive.» Protesters carried placards demanding Maldonaldo's safe return. A number of protesters attempted knocking down security barricades and throwing stones at the police following the rally.
