Children under 16 were able to go outside in Buenos Aires on Saturday after nearly two months of confinement as the local government began easing the lockdown restrictions imposed to curb the coronavirus pandemic.
Children and parents wearing masks, walking through parks, riding bicycles, and scooters were seen in the capital's streets.
Starting this weekend, children under 16 can go for a one... Еще-hour walk, no more than 500 meters far from their homes, accompanied by an adult.
«The truth is [it is] a pleasure, after so much time. Above all, they demand movement. One can more or less take them when doing groceries, but the kids need to run, to move,» said Luis Bruno, a Buenos Aires resident.
Argentina has registered 7,479 cases of the coronavirus and 363 related deaths, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University.
