Buenos Aires woke up on Friday to a mandatory quarantine that affects the entire country in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
Streets were seen completely empty, with hardly any buses, and many businesses are closed, except for grocery stores and other essential services.

Alicia Garrua, a local resident of Buenos Aires, said that «there is nobody on the streets, the streets are empty, and I am wearing my face mask out of fear, I don't want to get infected any more.»
The Argentine Ministry of Health confirmed on Thursday, 31 new cases of coronavirus in the country, bringing the total number of infected people to 128.
