Clashes erupted as thousands took to the streets of Buenos Aires on Saturday demanding justice for Santiago Maldonado, after a body found in Chubut River was recognised to be that of the missing activist. Maldonado, 27, was found in Chubut River in southern Argentina close to where he went missing on August 1. His disappearance was highly politicised and sparked a national outcry. The body was recognised this Friday by Sergio Maldonado, brother of Santiago, for his tattoos. An autopsy is underway to determine the cause of death.
