Archaeologists may have found the tomb of St. Nicholas, aka Santa Claus

Archaeologists believe they may have found the tomb of Saint Nicholas after discovering a temple and burial grounds below St Nicholas Church in Demre, Antalya Province, in footage captured Wednesday. Ground-penetrating radars were used to discover the temple below the current church. The excavation process is still ongoing to find out whether the body of St Nicholas remains in the burial... Еще grounds. Turkish archaeologists who have studied documents obtained from the Antalya region believe the Saint's remains may not have been transferred to modern-day Bari amidst the fall of the Byzantine empire as previously thought, but could have stayed in the area. Saint Nicholas, who lived in the 4th century, was apparently known for his generosity and gift-giving to the poor. His legacy gave rise to today's Santa Claus.
