Afghanistan: Taliban claim deadly car bomb attack on intel agency in Ghazni

A Taliban-claimed suicide attack on an Afghan intelligence agency in Ghazni on Monday morning has killed at least nine people and injured dozens more. Taliban fighters blew up a stolen four-wheel-drive military truck at approximately 5.00am at the main compound of the National Directorate of Security base in Ghazni. The explosion shattered windows in structures as far as a mile away. «Around 4... Last Thursday, a truck bomb exploded outside a military court in the eastern Afghan city of Gardez killing five civilians. Last Tuesday, gunmen stormed a maternity ward in Kabul, resulting in 24 deaths and 16 more wounded. On the same day, a suicide bomber killed at least 24 and wounded 68 more in Nangarhar.
